Jake and Annie’s love story took off when they both moved to New York City to attend NYU. Quickly, the two were inseparable after living through tiny apartments, late night bodega runs, and countless nights getting lost in the city where they met Champ— who quickly became the third member of their little crew. However, real ones know their love was sparked over none other than Facebook messages exchanged in middle school and a trip to Israel that cemented their paths together. For Jake and Annie, timing was really everything. After college, life pulled them in different directions between LA and New York, but they embraced long-distance, with Champ often hogging the FaceTime camera. Eventually, they both found their way back to the 305, trading the subway for sunshine, but keeping the same scrappy, New York spirit (and, of course, Champ) intact. Over eight years later, we're still best friends, soul mates, and partners in life.
